Its relationship with Wells of Life began with ICW Group’s President and CEO, Kevin Prior. Inspired by the work the organization is doing to meet the basic human needs of the communities it serves in Uganda, Kevin and his wife Raegan were compelled to help.
“The reality that not everyone has access to clean and safe water, which is essential to life, is unacceptable,” said Kevin. “Wells of Life not only provides a reliable and local water source but additional life-changing resources as well. I’m proud to be involved with an organization that prioritizes essential needs and saves lives every day.”
Driven by the success of the Wells of Life initiative, Kevin set out to get others involved. Recently, the executive leadership team at ICW Group pooled their resources together to purchase a new well. The company was also the title sponsor at the 2024 Wells of Life Gala.
Along with Wells of Life, ICW Group is committed to the ongoing support of charities across the nation, many of which are dedicated to creating a brighter future for children and families. Over the past 50-plus years, ICW Group’s success in business has allowed it to make significant impacts in the communities where it operates and beyond. Together with the Rady family’s charitable commitments, ICW Group has contributed more than $600 million to various organizations. ICW Group is also proud to have 98.5 percent of its shares earmarked for a charitable trust to benefit philanthropic causes.
