Assess your injury. Do you need emergency treatment?

If your injury is urgent, go to the nearest emergency room or call 911. Otherwise, call the Nurse Triage Hotline at 855.469.6877 to speak to a nurse specializing in treating workplace injuries.

Report your injury to your employer

Make sure your employer knows you’ve been injured as soon as possible. They’ll help you get started with the claims process.

You’ll be contacted once your claim is filed

Once your claim has been reported to ICW Group, our experienced staff will contact you within a few days to discuss your injury or illness.

Get medical care

Finding medical treatment

Depending on you state, you may go to a preapproved medical provider who specializes in work-related injuries.

Using the convenient telemedicine option

If your injury qualifies, get medical care from anywhere with Telemedicine.

Filling prescriptions

Most prescriptions for your work-related injury or illness are covered. You’ll receive a pharmacy card from ICW Group to help with prescription authorizations.

Receive benefit payments

Medical expenses

Approved, medically necessary and related treatments are covered 100%! Charges related to medical care, including emergency room and doctor visits, are examples of bills that may be covered for your injury.

Lost wage income

If your authorized doctor finds you’re unable to return to work while recovering, you may be entitled to temporary disability covering a portion of your wages. This amount is determined by state laws.

How will I receive payments?

Typically, payments are issued via check every two weeks, on a set schedule until your doctor releases you to return to work (modified or full duty).

For extended periods of disability, direct deposit can be set up at your convenience.

Return to work

It’s important to get back on the job as soon as you can and it’s our goal to help.

Modified duty

If you need to return to work with modified or light duty, it’s very important that you follow the limitations as outlined by your doctor. We can help your employer coordinate your return to work within your doctor’s guidelines.

Medical discharge

Once you no longer need medical treatment, you’ll be medically discharged by your medical provider.
