Does using telemedicine change the way I submit a claim?
No. You’ll continue to report and submit your claim as usual. See Report and Manage Claims.

What is the cost associated with using telemedicine?
There’s no charge for setting up this service for your company. The cost for each visit is the same as a regular office visit, which varies by state. Your cost savings and overall value comes from the benefits of using telemedicine:

  • Employees are treated remotely – they don’t have to leave home or work.
  • They’re not wasting time sitting in a waiting room.
  • They get treatment right away, ensuring compliance with occupational injury laws.
How long does a telemedicine visit take?
The length of the visit varies on the severity of the injury. Using Concentra Telemed®, on average your injured employee’s visit will take around 45 minutes.

Who are the medical providers that will be treating my employees’ injuries?
The doctors include MDs (Doctors of Medicine) and DOs (Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine). Physician assistants and nurse practitioners may also be available.

Will my employee see the same medical provider at each visit?
Yes – that is certainly our goal. However, there will be times that they may get another provider due to availability.

Can my employee continue to get care from home?
Of course – this is one of the advantages and benefits of using telemedicine!

How will my employees receive follow-up information about their visits?
They’ll get an email to login to the secured Concentra Telemed® portal, keeping their information safe and private.

How do I get injury reports for my employees?
Quickly gain access to reports and employee’s work status in real time, by signing up for a free business account with Concentra or by contacting your ICW Group claims examiner.

  • You can create your account before or after your first employee uses Concentra Telemed®.
  • If you only have one business location, set up your account now at concentra.com/account-creation
